The nursing club will be running a "How to Write a Nursing Care Plan" Workshop for the incoming 18 students.
It will take place on 3/10 for the evening students and on 3/24 for the day students. Both of them will be at 4:00 in the peds lab.Any senior students interested in helping out please contact me at tehilas@verizon.net.
Meet and Greet will be this Monday, April 14th from 1-3. Come and hang out with fellow students, have a bite to eat, and maybe win some great books! See you there!!

Nurses Week Poster Contest
Topic: any health related information (for example hypertension, diet, exercise, smoking cessation, breast cancer awareness, diabetes, etc)
Target Audience: the general public (the posters will be displayed in the breezeway on May 5 in celebration of Nurses Week)
Who Can Participate: Any clinical nursing student. The poster can be created by a single participant or a group.
When: the posters must be submitted on or before April 28 Winners will be announced on May 5. All submitted posters will be displayed during nurses week.
Prize: the class with the most participation will receive a pizza party on the date of their choosing
The grand prize winner will receive a mini ipod. Other prizes include ipod shuffles and apple gift cards. Winning posters will be chosen by the nursing faculty and judged on creativity, clarity of information and presentation of material. All posters submitted will be displayed in the breezeway to commemorate National Nurses Week.
